Pinewood Derby

One of the most exciting events in Cub Scouting is the Pinewood Derby! Each Scout builds and decorates their own wooden race car, often with help from a parent or guardian, and then races it down a special track in a thrilling, high-energy competition. It's a fun way for kids to get creative, learn basic building skills, and enjoy a little friendly competition. The Pinewood Derby is a favorite tradition in Pack 79 and a highlight of our Scouting year!
